Governance
The allotment site belongs to Caerphilly County Borough Council, and is leased to the St Mary Street Allotment Association. The Allotment Association is responsible for the day to day running and maintenance of the site, within guidelines laid down by CCBC.
The Association holds an AGM each year. Officers and committee members are elected at an AGM by the Association's membership - i.e., those holding a current tenancy agreement with the Association. Election is for a three-year term. The allotment year runs from April 1st to March 31st.
